What steel fabrication services does G-Tech Steel provide?

G-Tech Steel provides end-to-end industrial steel fabrication, including structural steel framing, plate work, tank and vessel fabrication, cat ladders, walkways, conveyor structures, and custom pipework. We manage projects from technical drawing review through cutting, welding, fitting-out, inspection and delivery or collection.

What steel grades and materials do you work with?

We work with mild steel (structural grade), stainless steel (304 and 316), and can source wear-resistant plate and speciality grades to specification. Grade selection depends on the application — for example, Grade 316 is used where sulphuric acid or chloride exposure is present, such as copper mining process tanks.

Do you handle custom, one-off fabrication orders, or only high-volume production?

Accepted Answer

Both. We fabricate single custom components as readily as larger production runs — there is no minimum order size. If you need one bracket or a full mining structure, we will quote it.

What information do you need to give me a precise fabrication quote?

Accepted Answer

Ideally: a drawing or sketch, material specification (grade and thickness), dimensions, quantity, and delivery location. If you don't have formal drawings, photos and measurements are enough for us to scope the work and come back with questions.

What is your typical lead time for custom fabrication orders?

Accepted Answer

Lead time depends on complexity, material availability and current workshop load. We confirm a firm lead time as part of every quote — we do not commit to a delivery date we haven't checked against the shop schedule.

Both. We stock and supply square tube, rectangular tube, round tube, and lipped channel, in standard lengths and bundle quantities, available for collection or delivery.
